In Praise of Our Ladies

Every report I have heard about last week's Ladies Day Brunch has been a glowing one. I have taken note from several individuals that everything about the day was a cause for celebration. The attendance, the food, the fellowship, the speakers, the singing, and the spirit of love and unity that was present were all reasons why our ladies were so pleased with the manner in which the day unfolded.

Hearing these things does not surprise me in the least. Our ladies do everything well. I want all of our ladies to know how much I appreciate your work in the Lord here at Franklin. You are indeed selfless servants who seek not the praise of others but rather praise for our Heavenly Father. In my eyes, you are unsung heroes who truly are the heart of this congregation. Where would our congregation be if it were not for your devotion and dedication?

So even though you don’t do the things you do in order to seek praise from others, I want to take this opportunity to praise you and thank you for all of your efforts. It is my prayer that God will richly reward you for all of the loyalty, love, and labor you display daily for His cause.
