Our Men's Retreat

Men’s Retreat - April 18 & 19
On Friday evening, April 18 and Saturday, April 19, the men of our congregation will be having a retreat at Taylor Christian Camp. Our theme for this retreat is “Here am I, Lord,” and the theme verse is I Peter (4:10) which says, “As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.”
As men of the congregation, we have been commanded by God to demonstrate leadership in both the home and at church. W. Tom Hall, who is our special guest speaker for the weekend, will be addressing both of these areas of emphasis as he talks to us about using our gifts with a “Here am I, Lord” attitude. If we add to this special emphasis a time for increasing our vision for the church, well then we have the makings of a great weekend for growth and renewal!
If you have yet to fill out an application, please do so by today and give it to either Jimmy Blackwell or Bobby Bennett. If you cannot make both sessions Friday and Saturday, don’t let that stop you from coming. Your presence either on Friday night or on Saturday will serve as an inspiration to everyone else in attendance. Transportation will be available. Remember, we are looking for 100 good men!
