Wonderful Resources at Church

Did you know that our church has a wide range of resources to help you in your personal Bible studies, evangelistic efforts, or even to help with teaching in the classroom? Yes, we have what you need! (If we don’t, then we will get it.) All of those materials can be found in our church in the back hallway.

Our teacher’s resource and workroom has tons of materials to aid our Bible class teachers with their classes. We have an array of books, flipcharts, visual aids, study guides, and much more to compliment the Bible study materials already being used in our classrooms. The visual aid filing cabinet located in the workroom has tons of materials and games to help out our teachers with their classes. There is also a visual aid cabinet in Room #8 to assist our toddler age children classes. Our workroom is also staffed on Sundays and Wednesdays by Juandeline West, Renee Ezell, and Michele Harding to help out our teachers with finding any extra materials they may need or just to help make copies. These three ladies have been a big help to all of our teachers and I appreciate all of their efforts.

Our church library is another source for materials to be used here at church or even at your home. Barbara Wims is our head librarian and she does a wonderful job of keeping books in place for all of our members no matter their age. She is assisted by Cindy Ferguson and Renee Ezell. The library has a wide range of books from reference to reading. There are also video series, audio tapes, children’s books, and other materials. Currently, the library is in the process of acquiring a book series for young women ages 8-12. These books follow the life of Lily Robbins with her adventures and struggles as she grows from a young girl to a teenager. Another new book for parents and their children is “Am I Ready to Be Baptized?”. This book is written by two members of the church to assist those who might be pondering the question of whether or not to become a Christian.

As you can see, we have a lot of resources to help you out. I want to encourage you to visit either one of these areas to find what you may need to aid you in your studies of God’s word.
